The founder of The Weems Group, Timothy W. (Tim) Weems, literally grew up working in various aspects of the real estate and construction business through his dad's company, the Marcus Weems Construction Company, Inc. - formed in 1939.

Tim Weems received a degree in Industrial Management from Louisiana State University in 1969 and later served 15 years as Vice President of The Woodlands Corporation, where he received additional invaluable training and experience in residential, commercial, industrial, and resort real estate development and management.

Upon Leaving The Woodlands Corporation in 1990, The Weems Group was formed to develop quality real estate properties.
